GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY MARINE SOCIETY

Oh Hey!
Becoming a member of the Griffith University Marine Society provides you with the opportunity to meet other passionate Marine Scientists, while also encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone and make the most of your time at Griffith University. It is essential that Marine Science and Marine Biology graduates make good decisions regarding career and degree progression, and make the most of the opportunities that are available to them while still working under the academic umbrella of Griffith University.

The Griffith University Marine Society is run to benefit its student members. Experiences, activities, skills and information sessions are carefully planned and organised to provide attending members with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge parallel to their academic studies that are really going to help them stand out, and provide valuable additions to their graduate resume.
Not just focussed on professional development, the Griffith University Marine Society also provides members with a network of supportive and understanding peers. Social events and mental wellbeing workshops run during the year allow members to get to know, and form connections with, other like-minded scientists in a fun and safe environment.
