GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY MARINE SOCIETY
There are multiple options for studying Marine Science and Marine Biology at Griffith University.

At the Gold Coast campus, these courses are taught by experienced and professional members of the marine science research and academic community. Check out the options below, and make sure you get in contact with Griffith University if you have any questions, or want to apply.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE
A Bachelor of Science at Griffith University allows you the freedom to choose one or more majors, including Marine Biology. Within this major, you'll study a wide range of topics including marine megafauna, coral reefs, and estuarine ecology, while having the opportunity to combine this with a second major to really extend your knowledge base.

BACHELOR OF MARINE SCIENCE
A Bachelor of Marine Science at Griffith University is a more focussed degree that highlights marine science beyond biology. Majors in this degree include Coastal Management, Marine Chemistry and Biotechnology, and Marine Ecology. Similar to the Bachelor of Science, you can elect to undertake two majors to really extend your knowledge base.

BACHELOR OF ADVANCED SCIENCE (HONOURS)
A Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) at Griffith University is similar to the Bachelor of Science, however this program differs in that it affords you the chance to undertake four Advanced Tasks, which culminate in a presentation in your third year that provides excellent insight into, and practice for, what is expected of you as you progress to your Honours in your fourth year.
Student Research Opportunities
